Default FS: Dunlop D03G semi slick tyres

Front 235/45/17 x2 H1 compound
Rear 255/40/17 x2 H1 compound

HEL have been using these on their Time Attack car, and they look very similar to A048.

I've used them for 20 mins on a totally wet track but they are as new with zero tread wear. They were fitted to a 7.5" front and 9" rear.

I paid £960 for them 9 months ago, and looking for £700 delivered.

Although my S is now a secondary car, how are these in the wet NOT booting it Mark? I just don't want to get dispatched in the nearest hedge as I've heard some of these tyres are terrible in the wet.

I've been looking at new better tyres ad08s, r888s etc to offer a little better grip.

Cheers

They are as good as A048 / R888, but won't be as good as AD08.

We all race on semi slicks and these are a control tyre for a lot of race series, with no wet option, so unless you are being silly they would be ok. None of this type of tyre does standing water very well, which you can see from the tread pattern. They are an E marked road legal tyre though.

Note that i've see a few people mention AD08 and R888 in the same breath recently - It's A048 which is comparable to R888. AD08 is a road tyre.

From my experience i would certainately rate these higher than R888 and , if i may, even from the Bridgestones!

Shame you are selling these without having tried them Mark. I am sure you would like them plenty!

GLWTS !

Thanks mate. I would like to use them as I paid £1000 for them but we have to use R888 for VTEC race series.

Seems a lot of people prefer to go for cheap track tyres, which is illogical to me.
