Default hardtop stolen....montrose area

f@cker got into the complex garage...diverted cameras and left with the hardtop. nothing else taken. hpd is a joke...handprints everywhere
and they didn't even bother. anyway...its NFR with 2 very small dings towards the back which can go undetected unles your looking for them.

hope they choke on it.

Fingerprint identification is reserved for high end cases such as murder. They can't/won't spend the funds & time involved in testing to find a $2k part thief. Not while there is a ton of much more important cases going on.

Sucks - yes.
HPD being unreasonable - no.

So we pay their salaries so that one day when we are murdered they can catch the killer after the fact, but in the meantime they camp on I10 and give me tickets on every possible occation to drain as much money from us so that when we get murdered they can use every possible resource against the killer

Thats very reasonable

Really Skyler? I thought you knew better than that! That product has some mixed reviews. Just buy the one piece from one of our vendor, those works for sure. But if you buy the set, let me buy one side off you lol.
You talking about the fastline hardtop locks or the kodokan seat locks? I just looked up another brand which is alloycraft. I guess that is the better one since you don't have to modify the key to open.

I'm really sorry to hear about that. I'd be so pissed and sad if that happened to me just knowing how hard it is to find an OEM hardtop these days. I hope karma takes care of them. It sucks that the cops aren't willing to open a case when there are fingerprints that could lead them to the thief.

finished with the insurance...will start looking for a new top

going to pick these up.
My link

the condos here have never had a problem with theft. they had to be friends with someone living here, or actually living here, they knew where the cameras were. they moved the camera before they left with the top
