Rebuild already Needed.
After buying my first S in February and putting just 1,000 miles on the clock, It has already come the time for a rebuild....
I bought the car (1999 Jap import) already Supercharged and tuned by TTS performance, running 11 PSI of boost (400bhp) 42,000 miles on the clock.
When I took the car to CPL Racing last week and had it on the Dyno it ran fine at 6 - 7 - 8 x000 RPM. When we took the car to 9000 the oil dipstick blew out of the bay about 6 foot across the room and shot oil all over the windscreen and rest of the car..........
They advised me strongly that the car needs a Rebuild (if i dont will shortly have a blown engine.) Apparently the reason is because of the poor map by TTS.
Any advice or recomendations, has this happened to anyone else... i'm feeling pretty lost?!
Absolutely gutted - summer ruined.

That sounds to me like you have boost leaking back into the block - i suspect AJ will come to your rescue there

1st thing is get a compression test and leakdown test, if they are good it could be you need to just sort out your crank breathing system, if the check valve is stuck open or missing you could be putting 11 PSI into the crank
do the copm test and remove the pipe from crank breather to either side of TB, it wont do any harm to let the crank breathe to air for a short while
i had mine fitted with small K&N crank breather filters and closed of any links to the intake system

My catch can is custom made by CPL, Just had it fitted as before was just a breather hose going into nothing and dripping oil slowly out into the bottom of the bay (how i picked up the car)

It could be worth reading up a bit first before thinking a rebuild is needed, like Razz said perhaps you need to just turn the dipstick around and look at you catch can setup, does it do it when the car is how it was when you first bought it?
