I'm thinking about getting them too.

I searched and some people said they're fine, and other people think they're a chinese made deathtrap.

My main question is if the oem center caps fit them - I assume they do since they're copies.

I'm looking. But one of the benefits of starting with new wheels is I can buy the exact tires I want. Most people on here are selling wheels with tires.

There's another seller now that's doing $450 shipped. Pretty sure I'm going to get a set.

Actually the OEM wheels SHOULD be stamped "Made in Japan". AP2V1 OEM wheels were made by Enkei for Honda. They will be stamped on the inside with the Enkei logo and the JWL logo. JWL for those not aware...

The Vehicle Inspection Association of Japan (VIA) independently tests wheels for JWL or JWL-T compliance. Wheels that have been tested will bear the VIA mark in addition to the JWL mark.[1]
The replica wheels will be stamped "Made in China". And will not have the JWL logo or the Enkei logo cast into the wheel.

I have a set of both currently. I run the replica wheels in the winter with my winter tires, and run the OEM wheels in the Spring Summer Fall with All Seasons or Summer tires. To be honest, I've never had an issue with the replicas, and to be honest, no one has been able to tell the difference. A few coworkers actually asked me why I didn't get a second set of rims to mount my winter tires, instead of re-mounting the tires. And they were looking up close! The JWL and Enkei logos are on the inside of the wheel face, so you can't see them without removing the wheel from the car.

To each his own. Some people will never run the replicas, others have no problem. I would even venture to guess that theres probably quite a few people running around with replica wheels on their car right now that don't even know it! If their car was ever in an accident, or a wheel was damaged by a previous owner, and an insurance claim was processed to replace the wheel, I would be it was replaced with a replica!

Got my wheels yesterday. I'm very satisfied. The finish on them is excellent. The 8.5s are 22.5 lbs and the 7s are 18.5 lbs. The ebay seller had them to me in 2 days. They were packed to withstand a tornado - fabric sock over the face, plastic wrap on top of that, bagged, doubled boxed.

Sumi HTR IIIs in CR sizes are on the way.
