Dream Build

In the realm of digital automotive art, widebodies are a popular thing. People just love the look, and it's far easier to dream up massive body modifications on paper (or screen) than it is in the real world. That's especially true of these widebody S2000 renderings created by artist Al Yasid Oozeear, which depict one of the wilder examples of Honda's legendary model we've ever seen.

Low and Wide

Oozeear admits that this particular customer order might be a bit too wide to actually build, but it looks pretty wicked, regardless. The low and wide S2000 is, if nothing else, completely different from anything we've ever laid eyes on. That includes the massive front fenders, which seem to be designed to channel air like a proper hypercar might.

Functional Beauty?

This project doesn't look to be just an appearance thing, then. Air can be manipulated via the fenders and various other aero tricks, like the inlets cut into the front end and a large rear spoiler. Gigantic rear fenders cover some seriously massive rubber as well, which when combined with the huge front splitter, totally changes the look of the S2000.

Simple and Classy

Of course, a widebody wouldn't be a widebody without the presence of an air suspension, and this car has one that lays it out on the ground with no clearance to speak of. We can appreciate the simple and classy five-spoke wheels, as well as the clean look afforded by the lack of traditional side mirrors, which have instead been replaced with cameras like some European cars these days.

More to Come

Throw in a reworked rear fascia, and you've got one killer custom Honda. Oozeear isn't quite finished with the renderings just yet, however, and has plans to create a shooting brake-style hardtop for the car, which should only enhance its look. We'll be on the lookout for that, as well as any other cool S2000 renderings this talented artist might conjure up in the future.
