Change of Plans

This S2000 has 74,500 miles on the clock and is being sold by its fourth owner, who purchased it from a fellow S2Ki member. He originally planned on using it as a dedicated autocross car, but perhaps the AP1's stellar condition convinced him that it needs to be preserved.

Mostly Flawless

The fact that the S2000 remains in such fantastic condition can be attributed to it living most of its life in dry and sunny Southern California. There are few bones to pick here, as the interior, exterior, and undercarriage are all in pretty excellent condition, though there are a couple of things worth noting.

Nine out Of Ten

The seller notes that there is a little bit of wear on the inside, particularly on the seat bolsters. But that's common with this and pretty much any other automotive model out there in the world. The rear bumper was also replaced due to a scratch, so the car retains 9 out of the 10 original VIN tags.

Loads of Maintenance

Otherwise, this gorgeous AP1 reportedly runs and drives perfectly, with a tight and responsive suspension and smooth-shifting transmission. The seller has performed plenty of maintenance as well, including installing a new battery, replacing all the fluids, performing a paintless dent removal and paint correction, and installing a new soft top.

Few Modifications

The car does have a few minor modifications, including a resprayed front bumper to get rid of the rock chips, rolled fenders, Origin Fabrication offset bushings on front upper control arms, and Spoon rigid subframe collars for the front and the rear.
