Daily Slideshow: The Hondas of 2018 Tuner Evo SoCal
Check out all of the cars that represented for VTEC... aside from the traitors that did engine swaps at Tuner Evolution Anaheim.
First one of the year
Down at the Anaheim Convention Center was Southern California's first car show of the year: Tuner Evolution. The registration filled up quickly and on the day of the show a quite large number of attendees showed up for the gathering of cars, vendor booths, models and then some.

No stranger to big events
Tuner Evolution has made stops in places such as Chicago. Philadelphia, Atlanta just to name a few so the group definitely knows how to organize events. Getting a spot in January right at the start of the year was a great idea as it satiates the automotive hunger that some folks are feeling while the Tokyo Auto Show and then the Detroit Auto Show goes down elsewhere.

Just a little redtape
Unfortunately, before the good people who showed up for Tuner Evo could even get in there were some fire code violations that had to be addressed. With attendees stuck in the lobby waiting to get in and some photogs able to get in early to take pictures, two improperly parked cars had to be correctly repositioned.

Down to business
This S2000 is a lovely departure from some of the other cars that were present that valued substance over flair. After you've looked at too many cars with exaggerated camber and shaved door handles the engine bay of this is like the breath of twenty angels cascading over you. Under the hood is a Circuit Hero coilpack cover and a Top Fuel carbon-fiber intake to show off how this car is straight up performance built.

One of the OGs
The DA Integra is a car that helped to pioneer the import movement all those years ago from magazines to parking lots across the automotive world in the '90s. This one has right-hand drive and comes with an original OEM kit along with a B17a engine swap. In addition to that swap, it's placed in a semi-shaved bay that looks spotlessly clean.

From the old to the new
The majority of Hondas that showed up for Tuner Evo ranged from the 1990's to the early 2000s but some newer vehicles like this 10th gen Civic hatchback did make an appearance.
