Suzuka Blue on Blue AP1 Finds a New Home
Though it seems like S2000 prices are getting out of hand, there are still some deals to be found.
Solid Find
Recently, we've seen some clean, low-mile Honda S2000 examples go for big bucks at online auction sites and various other selling outlets. But there are still some deals to be found for those willing to look, and that includes this super clean Suzuka Blue AP1 that recently crossed the virtual block over at Bring a Trailer.

Somewhat Low
When the hammer fell on this beauty, it sold for a tidy $18,250. Which isn't terrible, though it's worth noting that this car has a low, but not ultra-low 63k miles on the clock. There are also a couple of other notable items that likely helped contribute to that price as well.

Notable Items
Under previous ownership, the left fender was either replaced or resprayed, as the VIN sticker is not present. Additionally, the car got into a bit of an incident in a parking lot back in 2010, so the rear bumper has also been refinished. But aside from hardcore collectors, these aren't terribly important things to most people.

Minor Imperfections
And as you would expect from a car with 60k miles on it, there are also a few imperfections from simply driving the car. They include a chip in the windshield and a couple of imperfections in the paint. Otherwise, this car is in pretty excellent shape in every aspect.

Talking Maintenance
The engine bay is equally clean and tidy, and the AP1's maintenance records are quite extensive dating back to 2010. The front lower control arms were replaced back in 2016, while the brake fluid was flushed and an alignment performed in 2019. The tires are also around three years old.

Driver Grade
Aside from those niggles and a little normal wear on the interior, this S2000 is in great overall condition. Not completely collector-grade, of course, but certainly a car that can be driven and enjoyed for years to come.

No Loss
And truthfully, we'd take the discount and do exactly that. The seller racked up 17k miles themselves on this clean ride, and it's good for many, many more. Heck, it's also possible that the new owner could add that many and turn around in a few years and sell the car without losing money. And that makes this blue beauty even more attractive than it already is.
