Silverstone AP1 Up for Grabs With Tasteful Mods

Enhanced Ride

The S2Ki Marketplace always offers up a plethora of options, from bone stock, low-mile rides to highly modified show/race rigs and everything in between. Or, you could just aim for the middle with this Silverstone AP1. This particular car is mostly stock, but wears a few mods that aim to enhance it just a tad.

Lower Miles

The car itself has just 63k miles on the clock, which is pretty low. The exterior and paint appear to be in excellent condition, and it reportedly runs and drives perfectly, with a tight chassis and great feel. But with that sort of mileage, we wouldn't expect anything less from an S2000.

Few Mods

As far as mods go, there are just a couple. The car rolls on ASA wheels that measure in at 17x7" up front and 17x8" in the rear, and they're wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport rubber. The AP1 is also fitted with Koni Sport coilovers, and a soft top with a glass window.

One Flaw

The interior also appears to be in great shape, but there is some peeling of plastic around the shifter. The factory shift ball has been replaced with a titanium piece, but the original is included with the sale. Otherwise, the insides are pretty much stock.

Works Well

The seller notes that the car runs great and has been properly maintained over its time with the current owner. The top also operates as new, and the air conditioning blows cold. The AP1 has been to the track a couple of times, but mostly spends its time cruising around the Bay Area of Northern California.

Reason for Selling

The seller says that they're parting ways with the car because they need something with more trunk space, and are curious about a turbocharged ride like a WRX or STi wagon. We suppose that's a valid reason to sell, but personally, we'd just pick up a second vehicle for that kind of stuff.
