Old Skool Honda Meet Invades Pasadena With Classic Rides

Kicking It Old School

After a year plus of canceled car shows, things are back in mostly full swing, and that means weekly cars and coffee events, charity cruises, car club gatherings, and another installment of the beloved Old Skool Honda Meet, which recently took place in Pasadena, California. Luckily, MotorTrend was on hand to capture all the action on film, which gives us a nice taste of the amazing 1980s and 1990s Hondas that rolled in for the event.

Top Notch

The Old Skool Honda Meet takes place virtually every weekend at some location in California, bringing together roughly three decades of Hondas in one tasty setting. The background may only be some random strip mall, but the quality and quantity of cars that populate it are nothing less than top-notch.

Big Gathering

Even though this particular gathering was held early in the morning, MT reports that a large crowd gathered to soak it all in, which isn't terribly surprising. There was also a little bit of something for everyone, though certain makes unsurprisingly dominated the show.

Familiar Crowd

As most would expect, the Civic and Integra made up the majority of cars on site. For the most part, this group included third, fourth, fifth, and sixth-gen Civics, as well as second and third-gen Integras, which are, of course, still all over the place thanks to their inherent popularity and reliability.

Certain Hues

There were also quite a few teal versions of these beloved models, ranging from Aztec Green Pearl to Paradise Blue-Green Pearl, and also loads of white cars on site. Those that tend to geek out on rare parts were also in for a treat, as goodies like Work Ewing five-star wheels were a common sight as well.

Nice Mix

The crowd was filled with a nice mix of modified and stock rides, providing a little something for everyone. Everything from dedicated show cars to heavily-used cruisers, drag strip warriors, and everything in between.

Worth the Trip

But that's precisely what we've come to expect from every Old Skool Honda Meet these days. For those that are into Hondas of yesteryears, there aren't many better platforms out there in the world, making this event a must-see for anyone that's able to make the trek out west.
