Itching to Get Back
As we slowly but surely start to find the light at the end of this long tunnel, we are starting to see things go back to the way they were a year ago. And the extended absence of proper car meets has us, enthusiasts, itching to get back out there on a Sunday morning and enjoy the company of fellow car nuts.

Bringing Hondas Together
The enthusiastic turnout at last month's Honda meet was indicative of that. And LA's Honda lovers got a chance a couple of weeks ago to get back to doing Honda things. It didn't hurt to have the clear Southern California weather lend a helping hand to make the February 21st gathering even more enjoyable.

Spring Weather
Personally speaking, this writer is more than a little bit jealous. As I am, like folks in many parts of the country, still waiting for the snow to melt. But seeing this diverse group of classic and new Hondas in the California sun will put a smile on anyone's face.

Old Skool Honda
The event was organized by Old Skool Honda, which has quite an active presence on Instagram, @oldskoolhonda_. The page has been a constant poster of all things Honda, as you can imagine. And they've put together a number of meets as well, the most recent being this one in Pasadena.

Trouble-Free Gathering
Our friends at Super Street excitedly attended the event. And they could imagine a rowdy crowd, part-taking in some 'hooning' around the gathering. And it would have been understandable, given the inevitable excitement to return to the old days. However, they were pleasantly surprised to see that everyone respectfully followed the organizer's request to keep the event as civil as possible.

Variety
And of course, it's wonderful to see the variety in these Hondas. You could find anything from a no-expense-spared show car restomod build, to a track-focused modern Civic, all the way to a weekend warrior's garage project. In typical Honda meet fashion, there were all generations of the Civic, CRXs, S2000s, Integras, and more. Heck, even CRVs filled up the parking lot.

Here's to Many More
It's a great sign to see SoCal's Honda fanatics come together. The area is a hotbed for gearheads. And considering the state has been one of the most devastated by the pandemic, we hope that meets like this will signal a return to the normal order of business for car enthusiasts around the country and the world.
