Meister Watches Produces Special Civic Type R Pieces

Meister Watches caused a complete frenzy last year when they produced a series of four different watches commemorating the Civic Type R. All of those timepieces sold out within days, prompting the watch maker to come up with yet another piece to celebrate the 2021 Type R Limited Edition, itself a pretty hot commodity.

Special Touches

The face of the watches is painted the same color as the limited edition Type R - Phoenix Yellow. It's actually a re-release of the Type R Ambassador Mk3, albeit with a red Honda logo that sits above the Type R branding and replaces the 12-hour mark.

Nod to the Past

The black subdials on this special timepiece are a throwback to the gauge clusters present in Type R models of the past. The watch also features a black suede leather band with yellow stitching to complete the look.

Reasonably Priced

For precision performance, the special timepieces are powered by a Seiko VD53 Japanese 6 hand chronograph. Only 100 pieces were produced in total, and the sticker price for each is actually quite reasonable at just $250.

Wildly Popular

Unfortunately, every one of those 100 pieces was snatched up rather quickly, which should come as no surprise. The same goes for every other watch currently in Meister's Honda collection. But you can bet that more will follow in this wildly popular series.
