Low-Mile GPW S2000 Has a Lot Going For It

Just another beautiful, low-mile S2000 on the market, but oh what a nice one it is.

Another One

Sometimes, it sure seems like low-mile S2000s are growing on trees or something. They just keep popping up, but that's likely a side effect of ever-rising prices. This latest example comes to us from Facebook's S2000 Marketplace, and it's quite the gem. The Gran Prix White on Red beauty is rather nice to look at, and it's got just 21k miles on the clock.

Husband of the Year

The seller is just the second owner of this car as well, having purchased it from a guy who bought it for his wife as a 50th birthday present. Or, as we'd like to call him, the husband of the year. They fittingly named it "Snowflake," and the car has clearly been lovingly cared for ever since.

Fender Bender

The S2000 was involved in a minor accident a mere one month after it was originally purchased, which had to be a heartbreaker. But a dealer repaired the damage using OEM parts, and now you'd never be able to tell. Apparently, it was a low-speed accident, as a young girl rear-ended the car while it was sitting at a stoplight.

Fighting the Good Fight

According to the seller, the original owner fought the insurance company, who wanted to merely repair the damage cheaply using body filler. The original owner eventually won the battle and forced them to replace the affected body panels with new parts instead.

Hard Work Pays Off

At the end of the day, that diligence paid off, because this S2000 is rather pristine now. And in a day and age where these things have become highly collectible, the presence of poor repairs would certainly have caused quite the financial hit for the seller.

Rare Combination

As it stands, the seller is asking $29,000 for the car, which isn't a terrible price given its condition and mileage. And it isn't every day we see a GPW car with a red interior, which seems to be somewhat of a rare combination.

Surviving the Elements

Regardless, this S2000 has a cool story to tell, and that's the most important part in our opinion. It's also survived the many dangers this world has to offer for automobiles, whether that be the elements or young distracted drivers. And that's certainly something worth commending.
