Cool Custom S2000 Hails From Vietnam
This S2000 is one of just three currently present in that country.
One of Three
While the Honda S2000 is a common sight here in America, as well as in Japan and some other countries, that isn't the case with most other parts of the world. Take Vietnam, for example, where there are just three of Honda's legendary roadsters running around. This modified example is one-third of that trio, and it was recently featured by the folks at tuoitrethudo.

Mysterious History
The origins of this particular S2000 are a bit mysterious, as it turns out. Previously finished in red and owned by a custom car builder in Vietnam, it now belongs to an unnamed "secretive car player" that lives in Saigon, according to the article.

Dare to be Different
Regardless, it will certainly be difficult to blend in with the rest of the traffic tooling around Saigon, because this baby blue S2000 truly stands out from the pack, as it also would here in the states. It's a unique build for certain, starting up front with a bumper that's had holes drilled in it to aid cooling.

Body Mods
A body kit wraps around the entire car, helping it get a bit closer to the ground and lending it a custom look. In the rear, we can't miss this S2000's massive wing, which is big enough to double as a picnic table after a long drive in the countryside.

Head Turner
Sitting on a more subdued set of five-star black wheels, this unique build certainly can't be missed driving through town, which is precisely the point of such a car. However, the observant among us will also notice something very interesting on the outside - a badge on the front fenders that reads "supercharged."

Supercharged Power
Indeed, this particular car has been treated to a supercharger of unknown origin and a tune, which reportedly helps it generate over 300 horsepower, a nice increase over the stock rating. Unfortunately, that's all the details provided regarding this unique build, however.

Global Appeal
Regardless, we're just happy to see that at least three people in Vietnam caught the S2000 bug to the point where they went into the trouble of importing one. It's just further proof that this is a vehicle with truly global appeal, not that this surprises us one bit.
