1. Duc Trinh

Since Duc Trinh was a 15-year-old kid at school, he was determined on saving every penny he can so one day he can build the car of his dreams. After years of sacrificing buying the cool things that every child desires, Duc jumped into the Honda family when he bought a 1989 Civic Hatchback. The dream didn't come true, however, until he purchased his AP1 Honda S2000. Unfortunately, the car was stolen and it was declared as salvaged, but he never stopped dreaming. Finally, the dream came true once again when he purchased his second Honda S2000, this time it was an AP2, and the rest is history.

2. Exterior

Duc went all out when building his second Honda S2000, on the outside, he installed Voltex Street bumper for the front and +INGS one in the rear. To shed off some of the weight, he replaced the stock hood with a VIS carbon-fiber A-Spec hood, as well as Seibon carbon-fiber fenders and JDP carbon-fiber spoiler. Finally, Duc installed custom side skirts and custom rear metal fenders, and the badge and antenna were removed to create a smoother body.

3. Interior

On the inside of this AP2, the stock steering wheel is long gone, and in its place is a Personal Trophy 350mm steering wheel with a Gen 2.5 quick release. In the center console sits a Pioneer navigation system, and right under it is the BLOX Racing shift knob. Some gauges were added to the interior of this S2000, like the AEM boost gauge, the water temperature gauge, and the UEGO gauge.

4. Wheels, Tires, and Brakes

Duc's S2K sits on 19"x9.5" with +43 offset wheels in the front, and 19"x10.5" with +23mm offset Meister S1 wheels in the rear. The front tires are 225/35R19 Federal Super Steel 595, and the rear tires are the same brand, only size 245/35R19. Finally, behind the Meister wheels are four Spoon Sports monoblock brake calipers, which clamp onto drilled zinc coated brake rotors.

5. Suspension

Complementing the car's vicious stance is a Cusco Type ll front lower arm bar and an upper front strut bar. Duc installed Megan Racing Track coilovers all around instead of the stock shocks, as well as SPC ball joint camber kit, which makes this Honda S2000 handle as well as it looks.

6. Engine Modification

The engine has received some major modifications, like the iLL Garage Spec K24 Stage 3 bottom end with the CR-V K24 block, as well as Stage 2 custom K24/20 turbo kit with forward facing tubular manifold, air-to-air intercooler, and stainless steel V-band downpipe. Duc replaced the stock cylinder head with an Acura RSX Type S K20A2 cylinder head. The engine works collaboratively with a Clutchmasters custom K20 F22 transmission flywheel, as well as Competition Clutch Stage 4 clutch kit. These modifications, as well as numerous others, allow Duc's S2K to deliver 501-whp and 400-pound feet of torque.
