Standing Out

The S2000, like most car models that enjoy a large enthusiast following, comes in all shapes and forms. Some prefer to keep their cars mostly stock in appearance, while others go all-out to make them stand out from the crowd. This particular AP1 that we spotted for sale in the S2Ki Marketplace certainly falls in the latter category, thanks to a host of exterior mods that give it a truly unique look.

Sparingly Driven

Originally painted yellow, the seller decided to wrap his car in Diamond White, which is pretty easy to remove if you prefer the other hue. The AP1 currently has just over 57,000 miles on the clock and has been used as an occasional track day car and weekend cruiser over the last six plus years. But the seller only racked up around 6,000 miles in that time span, so he's realized that he just doesn't quite drive it enough to justify keeping the car around.

Country Mile

Having said that, the mods list on this AP1 is a country mile long. It starts on the outside, with a Spoon front bumper, M&M front canards and tow hooks, a custom front chassis mounted splitter, Trackspec Motorsports hood and fender vents, Ballade Sport carbon-fiber hardtop, Alloy Craft rear diffuser, and a Voltex Type 1S wing resting on a Renegade Motorsport carbon fiber 275mm wing stand.

Rolling Stock

The car rolls on a set of Volks Racing CE28N F wheels measuring 17x7.5 +50 and 17x9 +63, which are wrapped with Bridgestone RE-11A tires sized at 225/45 and 255/40 front/rear. They cover up Winmax W3 brake pads at all four corners, and there are a set of APR carbon fiber brake ducts for good measure, too.

Moving Inside

Inside, you'll find an equally long list of upgrades that include a Spoon rollbar, Recaro Pole Position driver's seat, Ballade sport seat rails, Personal steering wheel with a Worksbell quick release, EVS cruise control adaptor, a Takata 4-point harness, and a Greddy Informeter.

Fun and Stylish

And as you might imagine by now, there are a few performance upgrades worth mentioning as well. That list includes a J’s Racing 70RS single exhaust,
Berk 70mm test pipe, and little things like an Exedy OEM replacement clutch and New Ballade Sport engine and transmission mounts. Without a doubt, the seller has done a ton of work to make this AP1 a fun and good looking driver, both on and off the track.
