I've done this.

The funny thing is that there are some little issues here and there with my 12 year old car, and I was seriously thinking of selling it (for something new, but god only knows what), so I started out fixing some things that I had gotten use to in case I decide to sell it, but the more little issues I seem to put back to "correct", the more I just want to keep it. Funny how that works.

So I am still waiting for the updated map disk for this side of the country. But in the meantime I did an update on the system software. Now the voice has a British accent. It's pretty amusing, actually.

In a Range Rover you kinda expect it. But in a German car, it's just kinda funny.

Fair point. There's probably a Hitler voice as well, but be careful, when you make a wrong turn an arm comes out of the dash and smacks you.


I'd like to download John Cleese as my Nav voice, I think that would be hilarious.
