As well as asking if we could go car shopping this weekend, your daughter wants to know if she can drive the track.
I'm actually all for her tracking a car (not the Disco for obvious tipsy turvy reasons) so she can learn what a car can do. It would have to be Fiat though.
Look at the Mid Ohio Teen driver program. They teach car control skills in abnormal situations.

Seems reasonable, except the part about me being responsible for damages to the car up to $1500. I guess it depends what they have them doing, I wouldn't expect they're going full out on the course at 15/16. lol

They are doing parking lot drills with sprinklers, skid cars to unload the corners and emergency lane changes. I'd give the Mid Ohio School a call and see how fast it goes. Skid car is max 20 mph for reference.

After the few drives this weekend I'm going to sign her up for this.

It wasn't all bad. She's been driving a Corolla at Drivers Ed, and she's got used to it somewhat, so getting the Disco is completely different. She drifts to the right quite a bit, I think she's overly nervous and keeps touching her lip with her left hand which makes her pull the wheel to the right. I think she's got used to the Toyota straightening the steering wheel for her after a turn, whereas in the Disco you have to turn the wheel yourself, so she crosses the yellow line a bit on right hand turns.

I think a lot of it is just driving more, but I think it will have to be with me, Holly isn't a fan so far.

I'll give all of you fair warning if Karly's driving near you, at least until I'm more comfortable

Can I get a fair warning if Charlie will be driving near me?

only if you give your clutch a warning when you'll be driving it. RIP in peace, clutchy.
