New Lotus plates make me smile!
I'm still waiting for my pre-ordered wheels to ship. I've already got one new piece to put on, but I need to order a few more goodies before it's totally ready for this season.

Headers and HFC's installed. Holy s#%t it's got quite the snarl now!
Found leaking shock on pass rear, so bought 2 of worlds most expensive replacements. Now have 3 of 4 corners completed with new springs, new studs pressed in, and spacers installed.
Tomorrow, complete other corner, new exhaust finishers, brake fluid flush, and transaxle oil change. Then put all the under panels back on, and start tuning.
Still have to do cosmetic changes. With luck it'll be done before June

I'd say I'm shocked, but I'd be lying. Those vents in the fenders were bad enough, I can't imagine how tough it is to work on the important stuff.

Left the wife's GTI in Knoxville due to some yet to be diagnosed problem with the clutch.
However, I did find this:

Unfortunately, she heard a similar sound on startup for a few cold winter mornings here. I heard it once. We ignored it when we probably shouldn't have (assuming this is the problem).
