After getting back from Chicago, the battery in the Snalibu was dead. So I had to recharge it. Seems to be fine now.

The rears on the BMW are pretty much gone too. I think I need an extra kidney to sell.

We are only born with one extra. I believe I need two.

I installed a lead on the battery of the BMW so I can plug in the charger and leave the lead in place. I drilled a hole through the battery cover to route the lead out so I don't have to remove the cover to charge the battery. Should be a nice add. I was able to drive it yesterday, but I suspect it'll be in storage for the next two mos or so.

New shocks are on the Disco, ride is similar to stock but on the firm side over bumps/potholes but not harsh or uncomfortable. The steering has also firmed up as well, but I think that's more to do with the tires than the shocks.

I quite like the way this thing is riding now, it is very stable in corners now and very good in snow, I'd say it's now a bit better than Holly's Jeep, which is saying something.

Who knew tires made that much of a difference

The battery was dead in the snalibu yesterday. This does not bode well. I recharged it, and it was fine. It had been a little while since I'd driven it, but it was less than a week.

I bought another plug to install on the Snalibu so that I can more easily put the charger on it. I'll try doing a maintence cycle on it with the charger.

I also had a Groupon for a cheap oil change, so I took the snalibu in for that yesterday too. Assuming the battery holds up, she's ready for the long drive to Chicago this weekend.

So the new plug for the battery charger has a cool feature that has LEDs to show you the status of the battery. It makes more sense to have that feature on the BMW.

So.... I'll end up switching out the plug on the M.
