I dropped and broke my favorite coffee cup today. I've had it for over 15 years.

Girl: "I'll only be around for 2 days basically but if you wanna grab coffee or lunch on Wednesday I have an interview in the area by your apt Let me know"

Me: "That sounds great! Have interviews anywhere exciting? Are you going to be anywhere else in the city? My office is off of Michigan Ave, but I can meet you anywhere."

Girl: "The 18th is going to be a little hectic.. but I am going to a networking event at night on the 18th (IDK what time you get off work but I went last time I was in town ... and it was pretty fun (free alcohol was involved so my judgement might be skewed ... I'll forward you the details if you are interested."

uhhhh really? like wtf, you just asked me to have lunch or coffee and now you can't make it cuz its going to be hectic so you want me to go to something else? HUH?!?!?
