I'm venting about the crappy streaming quality of ESPN3 at work. How am I supposed to watch the World Cup like this?

Kamron, if you have a multimeter, you can do a PSU check by jumping the required mobo power cable locations, then testing the voltages using one of the many diagrams available online. There's a chance that some (but not all) of the voltages or rails are operating incorrectly.
You dont need to use jumpers, just test it straight off the PSU.

I'm just saying you can jumper a PSU to "turn it on" without plugging it into a mobo (the green "PS-ON" and a black ground should do the trick). Once you do that, you should be able to get readings from all the pins. Thanks for posting up a diagram, though.

Ahhh I usually just leave the mobo in and check the cpu/molex voltages.

I like using this method, as it COMPLETELY removes the mobo from the equation.

It doesn't matter kids because I didn't have to go through the trouble. Left it unplugged for one day, and now it's back to working. I had previously tried shutting down the PSU and unplugging it for a few minutes, but I guess not long enough. Not sure what the glitch was, but I'm glad it resolved itself (unfortunately, my garage door is not going to fix itself, though). Perhaps heat was the culprit, although, in the past it has always seemed to run pretty cool. I'll have to keep a closer eye on temps.

I bought a paper shredder....It shredded about 1.5 sheets of paper and then stopped. Now it doesn't do anything. Tried checking the safety switch, tried plugging it in a different outlet, nothing. The reverse doesn't even work. The motor doesn't buzz, so it's not jammed... I am rather disappointed in that...

Going to take it back and complain about it.

unions. construction workers that get paid $30/hour to do simple tasks that requires no training, little effort, and a good honest immigrant will do for half the pay and be happy about it.

unions that fight for lazy inept idiots that don't deserve a job.

unions is to the work force as communism is to governments.

FAWKIN' A...I got a tint ticket Friday night at the Deadmau5 concert. I'm going to try to fight it, i've got 35% on the sides, within IL law. Yes, I've already heard Chicago doesn't follow this law. But a friend of mine said his coworker got off by sending a copy of the IL tint law. Hopefully it works for me...$250 is a retarded fine.
