Saw a device go down in monitoring. Called the end user who said it was in service. Called the carrier because the ping was getting lost in their network. Spend over an hour trying to talking the dumbass scripted tech support idiots into transfering me to Verizon's network support department. finally get a ticket made.
10 minutes after i hang up, we get a call back...........................
"Device has been unplugged because we needed to use the outlet"

I'm just glad I'm car savvy enough to read through the service manager's BS. Unfortunately they did the main thing that was supposed to fix the problem, and while it fixed the main part of that problem, other issues still exist, so they're looking into it now. NOT the way I wanted to spend my Saturday morning.

Funny, the dealership I take my car to diagnosis the problem I ask, If I want them to look into other problems while there, but didn't schedule it, the manager gets mad at me and says I need to schedule another appointment.
This last round I took my car to a Saab specialist out in the middle of nowhere. They were pretty clean with what needed to and didn't need to get fixed with regard to the problems I brought to their attention.
