Sorry...wrong movie...

Haven't seen it...guess I'm more of a comic book gal...
That's the one I was thinking of

Paul and Kamron: I actually get a lot of people talking / yelling at me in the Mini when the windows are down... everything from little kids shouting "Cool car!!" to a guy on a Harley the other day asking what kinda mileage I get... a common question.

I'm pissed off at birds right now. Seagulls to be specific. I wish I had a pellet gun, I'd pop that bird, and send a few more rounds into it's dead body for good measure.

So I go to the Lake Geneva meet. The ONE car that has to get crapped on, the one PLACE it has to get crapped on is my newly redone seats. The driver side to be specific.

I WANNA KILL THAT BIRD!!!!!!!!!

By far, one of the of the most memorable moments in UMW S2Ki meet history; there've been quite a few, but this is definitely top 5 material.

I hope the crud gets out of the perforations.

Are you sure that was from a seagull? It looks like another S2ki member might just have REALLLLLY liked the interior of your car.

Alcantara should be easy to clean.

I got probably 99% of it out. The stuff on the surface cleaned really slick. The stuff in the perforations proved to be much more difficult. It was my job as soon as I got home. Brushes didn't work too well, detailing tips, no, I just dabbed a damp microfiber cloth over the affected areas and it seemed to work ok. There is still some in there, and it'll likely be visible under direct sunlight, but I've kinda run out of options/ideas on how to get what's left out.

More than ever, I absolutely ABHOR elderly piss-poor drivers. Not only can they be absolutely horrid at controlling their machinery, they won't accept blame for their own fault. Thank goodness for the law, traffic cameras, and coincidentally a member here being a witness on my side.

(I'm referring only to the elderly who are piss-poor drivers, not labeling all elderly drivers)

I hate visiting the stealership, but I've just developed a tear in my soft top and I'm gonna try to convince them to fix it under warranty (even though I'm about 6 months past my warranty expiration), but hey, I've only got 28k miles on the car. I'm gonna go after lunch so they can see it, then they may let me know when their district manager will be available to approve the replacement.
