I found out yesterday that I am teaching a 5-day class next week. But I only have 4 days in which to teach it. It's a LONG 5-day course too, so I am going to have to do 10-hr days. The trainer's guide is almost 1000 pages. I have to go through it all by Tuesday.

Today, my last trip to the clinic (follow up for my surgery) went something like this:
After a 40 minute wait (unusual based on my previous 3 visits) , the nurse asks me how the incision is healing and asks when and where I had the staples out. I tell her on Monday at this clinic and she proceeds to tell me they don't have any doctors orders for that. I told her again that the staples had come out at this clinic on Monday. Considering she had my chart in her hands, I'm not sure what she missed. I told her that I left a bunch of paperwork with them the last time I was in, including the doctor's orders, which had been faxed to my home care nurse from the clinic itself. At this point I became a bit concerned about the confidentiality of my information (okay, there's nothing in there that matters, but it's the principle!). She leaves the room and gets my 'other' chart and tells me I'm right. No shit Sherlock.
This is after a serious lack of communication late last week/early this week about whether I would have a nurse coming to my home to remove the staples or if I'd need to go to the clinic.

I have been having the worst run of poker lately.
I raise with A/K, I get a call, and then a short stack goes all in for about 2.5x my bet. I go all-in and I get called. The inital all in has A/5, and the guy who called my all in had K/10. I have them BOTH dominated, and when the hand is over I have the third best hand.
Another tourny... I raise with A/K and get two callers. The flop is A, J, 6 rainbow. The short stack in the small blind goes all-in for about the size of the pot. The other player calls the all-in, and I call too. A/3 from the short stack and K/10 from the limp-call under the gun. Q on the river pays off the idiot chasing an inside straight draw.
