2 weeks ago, my neighbors found one of their cats shot. I know he was an outdoor cat and you take that risk when you let them out of the house. He was an annoying cat, but he was really sweet. Today, there was a note in our mailbox from a different neighbor telling us that the stray that has been in the neighborhood for 7 years was found dead in their yard. I called her and left a message to find out what happened to "our" dear Gary. Her hubby called back and said there was a "puncture" wound to his chest.

WHY do people think it is OK to shoot helpless animals??? OK, so you are annoyed that there is a stray cat in your yard, but call Animal Control.

 

I'd be concerned about a Jr. Serial Killer in the making in your neighborhood. It sounds like something a kid would do.

 

Yeah...there are a few little schiets around here. Gary was a stray, but the cop that lives 2 houses down and his wife took him in and took him to the vet a couple of weeks ago. He's going to file a report with animal control tomorrow...

Left Sophie outside for a couple of hours Saturday. She wont be outside alone ever again.

i fix a guy's car and it takes a week for him to pay me.
i just got done replacing his alternator and he wasn't home. i fear it'll be another week before i get my moolah.
i only got $5 in my wallet/pouch at the moment.

 

Animal cruelty pisses me off. Hopefully your pets remain safe, Holly.

 

I heard somewhere that the law sates that it's ok to shoot strays now. Not sure about in other states, or even this one. But I DO remember hearing that somewhere. Just because a cat is annoying doesn't make it ok to shoot it though. Especially if it had a collar.

Please don't take my comment to mean that I condone what has happened. Because I don't condone animal cruelty. If the bullet is still contained within the animal, it can be removed and traced back to the gun and the owner of that gun.

We had some neighbors that threatened to have our dog put down because it barked alot. Some people just think the world belongs to their own little onesies and everything everyone else does needs to appease to them. (like not being able to smoke in your own home because your neighbor can smell the cigarette smoke, and is concerned about 2nd hand smoke.)

 

Why do we have to get MORE SNOW?!?! Havn't we had enough of this already?!

It was snowing when I left work in Oconomowoc. And I hear there's a possibility of 2-4 inches on Tuesday.

 

The paper said possibly snow in MAY....

My room mate apparently decided to get engaged to his fat, disgusting, failing-at-life girlfriend... which probably means I'll see her more at the apartment. Here I just signed another year's contract with him, hoping they'd break up soon.
