The roads are good here in Chi-town. Most of the snow is gone, it was 50's yesterday, and supposed to be mid-40's today with rain. The rain is helping to wash crap away AND melt any remaining piles of snow.

That said, it's GOING to snow again here. I still have my snowies on the car.

 

smart move... it's going to snow here this weekend again as well... looks like i'm pushing back getting the S out of storage for another week

So I heard that the job I applied for was filled yesterday. It took 3 mos to get a PHONE interview, and for over a week I received absolutely NO feedback from them. My SECOND email to the hiring manager was finally replied to, and it's "The job was filled." For crying out loud, 3 focking months of this

It's just frustrating that they went so SLOOOOWWWWWW.

I have second interview on another gig tomorrow, and I applied for an open posting here. Something permanent will come along soon, I believe. I just don't want to waste 3 mos working on ONE gig that I don't get.

I found a dent on my door today caused by an inconsiderate, overweight woman in a mid 90's ford Taurus. I know who you are. BIG MISTAKE thinking you could get away.
