It is slow here at work. I jumped on early this morning from home just to take a quick peek at the site and it was not nearly as slow at the time. Maybe more users checking it out right now. Also, my home connection is 4x faster than my work connection to the interwebz.

What image codes do we use now to post photos found on the web?

Agree'd. New layout looks cheap and hastily put together.

Old layout was nice, clean, modern(somewhat) but most of all, professional looking.

So I get this urgent voicemail from my friend saying that he needs to know the dates of our mountaineering trip by noon on March 2nd! That was less that 12 hours notice to get all that stuff set in stone! It wasn't really all his fault, as his boss notified him and the rest of his crew today, but still... Had to call him at 1:00 AM and then wake up my brother and sister-in-law because they are coming too, and needed to get their schedule sorted out. Didn't get off the phone until 2:00 AM, then straight to the PC and Summit Post for route and conditions info. Not only this, but my friend could not take off during a period which pretty much killed the entire month of June, which is one of the most optimal times to go (good snow, and less rock-fall). Now options are late May, or mid July. Both which should be ok, but not the greatest options.

It just pisses me off that I have to get this whipped out and decided as fast as this. I don't like making important decisions this fast, without all the information on hand. But my preference has been made. Late May would be best for snow conditions and rock-fall conditions, but can pose a problem with road access... In most cases, the roads are clear though...

For the first time, I'm truly embarrassed to be a U of M alumnus:

If this damn site wasn't so friggin slow, I would have posted a "top ten reasons Kamron is embarrassed to be a Wolverine", all ten reasons would have been photos of Michigan Quidditch.
