Verizon wont let me upgrade. They want me to pay $750 for the iphone

That's not right.

Call AT&T and see what it would cost to get one through them (including any cancellation fee from Verizon.) Then call Verizon back and make them match it.

I know plenty of people who work for Verizon. Trust me, they do NOT want customers going to AT&T.
