Evos are nice, I've had one for like 3 moths, it was a lemon unfortunately, If You gonna mod it then get the evo, but forget about the warranty-Mitsu is a bunch of pricks and they will not honor the warranty. transfer case is a big problem on evos.
Another thing is interior Evo has same interior like the lancer ES, STI especially 05 has one of the nicest interior I've seen.
Oh and about that modding, every year there is a competition called evo vs wrx shootout, last year Subaru got their ass handed to them...there was no STI running quicker then 11.8-.9s..........This year they won, they've beat most of the evos, and fastest sti was in the 9.
Remember 4g63 motor (evo) has been around since early 90, and its basically unchanged in Evo8(9 will be different it will have mivec which is like vtec) and tuners know it inside out, also it comes with great 20g turbo unlike sti's small vf-39,
On the other hand EJ257(sti) is brand new motor with avcs(like vtec) and tuners don't really know much about it yet. for now there are cars with stock block hitting around 600awhp, which is almost as much as the evo, also did I mention that the car running 9s passes is on stock transmision(very strong).

The only evo I would buy now is the MR.

I actually went to SF. It was a good trip. Got to eat some good food and see some friends.
It's a very nice place. Wouldn't mind living there for a few years after I graduate.
Just too damn expensive!

 

I wanted to move back to japan to be close to the food and honeys. But everything costs so much over there, i don't see it a reality anytime soon..

 

i can see how the food would be awesome there in japan.
but you don't like sushi!
i see the honeys being finer here, i mean in the US

 

I would wanna move for the cars and mountain roads......
