good luck buddy. the roads aren't too bad.
last night i took the miata out for a spin to see how deep the snow will have to be to impact driving.
here's the result:
In deep snow, around 5 inches, the car oversteers with any accelerator input. also i noticed that the car keeps its line and doesnt require much input to keep it steady. i have full set of blizzaks on the car but almost every corner had to be taken via drifting or sliding.
all in all, even in the deepest snow, the car handles predictably. i drove it this morning to the train station and encountered alot of snowy roads with no problem.
bottom line: snow tires are essential to any FR based light weight car.
