Default F1 Race in Montreal

Wow, that race was INTENSE. SO much action, so much going on it was AMAZING!

Lewis Hamilton takes poll, wins his first F1 race, and takes the chapionship points lead and that's NOT the most interesting part of the race!?

Fernando Alonzo passed ON TRACK by Takomo Sato in the Super Aguri FOR POSITION!

Fernando was off-track at LEAST 5 times for the day.

Ferrari stacking the pits forcing Raikkonen to wait for service.

Masa AND Fisi BOTH black flagged.

Kubica's horrific crash.

Jenson's car stalls at the start line.

Both Spyker's hitting the wall and continuing.

Heidfield came in Second and Wurtz was third.

Kovalanien started DEAD LAST and finished fourth!

10 of 22 cars that did not finish!

And a RECORD 4 saftey cars.

UN-REAL race!

That race was amazing. I jumped out of my seat when Sato - one of the slowest drivers on the field last year, passed the 2 time world champion. And it was a clean pass. Drafted, got ahead on the outside and set himself up for the inside on the next turn.

Kubica gave us a scare. I was really freaked out when he wasn't moving.

Thought it was pretty funny that the super aguri team didn't see davidson in for a pit stop.

I actually thought Barichello would score some points for honda since he was in third with like 6 laps to go (a few of them yellow). He couldn't have stretched his fuel another six laps? Poor planning I guess.

Hamilton is amazing. First time he's ever raced at that track and he just freaking dominates. I really wonder how far ahead of heidfeld he would have been if there weren't so many yellows.

Shitty thing about the race: Fox coverage. Speed coverage isn't that great, but the Fox coverage was just freaking annoying. They know that a good chunk of their audience may not be big F1 fans so they explain all the basics (which annoys me but is understandable). Was also annoyed by the advertisement for baseball that popped up and covered half the screen - the half where the cars are. And worst of all - no pre-race show nor post race interview. I'm going to download the british telecast now.

The comparisons to NASCAR were annoying at first, then began to be accurate later on. But overall, I agree. It was annoying.

I was pretty annoyed at no pre-race show, but I understand that they had to cut the post-race stuff because the race ran long (4 safety cars...) I believe Speed would have cut the post-race stuff too had it been on Speed.

I did too. But I was at work watching on a crappy old tv. There were two people in the store and they thought I was nuts.

Hahaha agreed with the both of ya. I was going crazy, people were looking at me wierd and i just kept pointing to the screen and yelling some choice words for Taku. So happy for him, great pass, great race. Probably his best race ever.

Takuma Sato in a super aguri passing Alonso in a mclaren is equal to anyone that drove for Minardi, passing Schumacher's ferrari.

Great race, and I couldnt be more excited for the USGP.

WHOS COMING WITH ME?!

True. Although this race had the post race I wanted to see the most. Hamilton must have been on cloud 9 (too bad he didn't start a trend like the Schumi Jump or the weird Alonso poses). Anyay, I like interviews with Hamilton more than interviews with most any other driver since, well, Alsono and Kimi speak like robots and Mass sounds like an 8 year old.

Wish I could go to indy next week Looks like more Fox coverage for me.
