Default Yokohama AVS ES100

I need tires really bad I was looking on tire rack and I found alot of matches when it comes to the "recommended" tire size...But after reading a post in one of the fourms that said if you are not running Stock OE tires you should be running a 245/45/16 In the rear and 205/55/16 in the front...The reason listed was due to a contact patch on the bridgestone....Anyway on to my real question...Is this statement false? if not and I chose to go with this combo that I have listed rather then the recomended tires.....Will I increase over/Understeer? What are the differances I should expect if any and how would it be compared to stock?...Thanks alot John....

I think TireRack can only recommend OEM sizing. Go with the 245 but search by that size and not by S2000.

I think after you select your car model and year, then you click on "custon front and rear size", you can select the front and rear size that you like, example: 205/55R16 and 245/45R16. The next page will show you all brands and models that have both sizes.

Other than Yokohama ES100, you can buy both sizes 205/55R16 and 245/45R16:
Fuzion ZRi, Avon Tech M500, Bridgestone Potenza RE750 ...

Yeah your right I did forget to check fuzion...Bridgestone is too exspensive for my tires buget...I am still trying to save for rims and other parts (Turbokit....ETC)...I have to get tires every six months for the rear.....

do yourself a favor and choose something else other than the NOISY ASS ES100. Other people(not only s2k owners) I know who owned these tires have also complained about the noise.
