Had them and didn't like them. The rears only lasted about 8K and the performance difference was very noticable when I switched back to S02's.

I had them on my MR2 turbo and did NOT like them. Didn't offer that great of performance in the dry (and it's always dry here). They were really nice in the rain though. Tread life was really short also. I got about 7k miles out of the rear on my MR2. I used 215/40-17 front and 245/40-17 rear on the MR2.

I know that it is not directly related to how it will perform on an S,.... I posted a review on a different website. Some like these tires others hate them. I am on the *hate* side of the fence.

Here was my post:

Can anyone comment specific to the NSX???

My Response:
I had ES100's on the NSX and got rid of them. They are by far the worst tire I have had on the NSX.

I have had (to be specific)
Kuhmo Supra 712
Dunlop SP9000
Dunlop SP8000
OEM Yokohamas
Falken Azenis Sport
Yokohama A520
Yokohama ES100

The ES100's are a bad choice for performance driving IMHO. They take away one of the joys of and NSX: its abaility to feel like a sports car. These tires are lifeless. Their sidewalls must be made of jello for they have zero turn in response. They make the car feel sluggish. As for grip. They are weak there too. I drive moderately fast and TCS almost never came on. With the ES100's it came on much more frequently.

For bang for the buck (in 16/17 sizes) I cannot recommend any tire more than the Falkens. They give 90% of OEM turn-in and grip for %50 of the price. I have 5k on them now (with 2.5 deg - camber) and they look about 1/2 gone. Not bad, I expect to get 12-15k out of them. I would expect 17-19k if I did not have so much neg camber. I posted a review on these tires on Prime a while back.

My sincere recommendation is to NOT buy the ES100's.
