i found a good deal on these yokohamas for my stock ap1 rims. i know 245/45/16 is reccommended when changing tires from oem. does anyone know if the contact width of the tires is comparable to our potenza's? what kinda issues could i have with this tire?

 

Stickie is obsolete, and probably wasn't the best idea for it to INSIST on 245/24's in the first place.

Don't worry about "contact width" (or tread width, or contact patch), it's not as big a deal as it's frequently made out to be.

225/50-16 is fine, MUCH more important to get the BEST tires for your usage. Which AVS ES100s are not...
