They are a very good wet traction tire as well as longer wearing.

What is the typical wear life of this tire? (Milage)

I am try to decide on a good tire that will last long and grip decent for those days i want to drive spirited.

I loved Yoko's but on my evo they wore super fast.

Honestly not too agressive. I am really looking for a tire to last but have some grip. I just dont want to spend 200+ dollars for a tire that last 6k miles.

I guess im just looking at an all around good tire with a good price in 215 45 17
255 40 17

The life span for the S Drives are around 30 to 35k. Thats if you dont drive really aggresive. I ended up paying 570 for the same size as you. Overall it is a great tire!

Did you say you got 255 40 17s in the rear? I cant seem to find them on Tire Racks Page.
