Default yep here we go again tire question :)

hey guys I know this subject has been beaten to death but once more I need to ask, for a offset of +57 for a 18x9 rim would a 245/35 or a 255/35 work better in which I will have minimal rubbing. I am lowered 1.4" as well. And for the front i have 18X8 with a +52 offset on the way and I was looking at a 225/40 tire or would a 215/40 be better. I also know it depends on the tire as well which right now is between the falken 512, fk451, or the nitto 555. Thanks for the help in advance

Yes, it certainly is beaten to death. That's why we have a Wheel Fitment Guide sticky.

Either of your choices should work, but if you are lowered, I would probably use the narrower ones to be safe.

out of curiosity spa-zz, where or how did you learn about all of this. Do you know if there is any good books out there in understanding wheel fitment and or guide to offsets and such. It all seems interesting and maybe good knowledge just to have.

hey JsAp1 thanks a bunch, i agree with you on the 225/40s, but I am still in questiuon about the 255/35's. I may just go ahead and try the 255/35's and see how they work, I do know a guy around here who has a professional fender rolling tool, so worse case scenario I may do that. One good thing living in florida no big dips lol.
