Xxr 521's why the hate?

Yeah, to each his own when it comes to rims. Some dudes will get an affordable car and mod it to make it look expensive. Some dudes just go buy expensive cars and save time and effort on finding parts to get the look they want. I fall in the middle.
There's really not much point to spend 2k on rims if you are spending 90% of your time commuting. The XXRs look cool, and when it comes to getting girls in your car...it's all about looks. Few of them care or even know wheel brands.
So if one is willing to put in the work to get the rims to fit properly, then have at it.

Fitment was not an issue for me, but there will be some work involved. If you aren't looking to spend $1,500+ on rims, then go for it!

I'm buying these wheels soon. Dont listen to these females sharing their feelings on the oprah winfrey network about fitment. They are just sad that they are a minority. Spending over 1000-1500 for wheels is dumb as hell. Like the females are saying, its like buying a piece of shit Gucci mark up bag. If you like it, it's all that matters. There will always be females who need their feelings listened too....

While you are a tiny bit right, you are missing a lot. You make blanket statements, which are just .... wrong (besides the necro post).
Take a cheap set of wheels to a track and let me know how you like them when they crack on you. Even RPF1's have failed in this type of usage.
PEople talk about fitment because they are thinking, not just trying to fit a look. If I had lower offset 17X9's on my car, I would limited on my setup, meaning I would be less competitive at autox events, meaning what ever wheel I bought would be junk to me. If you just want to super camber the car, flair the fenders and just care about that look and nothing else, then you dont have the same concerns. But for some of us, properly stuffing enough wheel and tire under our car so we can set the car up for a purpose is way more important.
Sorry, but your post comes off as childish (To say the least) and misinformed for sure. And obviously you do care, since you revived the thread to call anyone who doesnt agree with you a female (Which in itself is a pretty childish "insult" to most grown ups here... what if they WERE a female? ).
If you like the wheels, buy them. Its your car and you can do what you want. But saying people are "females" (that sounds dumber every time I type it!) because they care about fitment is downright dense.
In terms of pricing, I dont care about that part. IF I was a serious road racer I would likely have forged wheels and spend WAY more. I run as set of TR Motorsports, because they look good, they fit properly to allow for setting the car up the right way to compete and they did not break the bank. So they fit my purposes perfectly. People spend way more to get a brand name and because they dont want people to think they bought and affordable part ... those people care WAY too much about appearing richer than they are. But spending more to get something that provides the function they need is perfectly understandable if that is needed.
This isnt honda tech, and there is no reason to come off flaming people for not having the same viewpoint as yours. You seem to care most about show and shine, so you are buying wheels that suit your purpose. Some of us have other priorities for our cars and choose differently. Both is fine and both carry different needs and opinions.

There is a huge difference in quality between a work wheel and the XXR rep. If you don't know that or cannot understand why one costs more than the other I cannot help you. Enjoy your cheap poorly fitting wheels. Oh and way to bump a 2 year old thread just to be insulting and childish.
