Default Wrong tire sizes

I just noticed today that the front tires I recently purchased were 225/50/16 on my 01...is this going to have a detramental effect? And how much is this going to effect handling?

Should I just go back and bitch at them and tell them to put on the correct size tires?

What sizes do you have on the back? If you have 245/45/16 there, handling won't be that much affected. If you have aftermarket 225s back there too, then you may have to dial down your aggressive driving tendencies a bit.

Many of us have tried various setups and what seems to work best is 225/50 front and 245/45 rear, especially if you have a larger than stock front sway bar.

The way I read it was that a s02 205 was a 225 in any other tire because of the large contact patch the s02s have.. I have Fuzion ZRi's all around, 245/45 in the back and 225/50 in the front and handling wasnt affected

Hi, guys:

This brought up one question I have.

For 05 and 06 models with 17 inch stock rims. what's the best set up in terms of front and rear size for handeling and look?

A: stock size - 215/45/17 front, 245/40/17 back

B: 215/45/17 front and 255/40/17 back

what's your preference when replacing stock tires?

thanks

S2000 was design to run with equal diameters front and rear. If you like to upsize the rear from 245/40R17 to 255/40R17, then you should upsize the front from 215/45R17 to 225/45R17 to preserve the appearance, handling, ride ... without potential problem with ABS malfunction.
