im sure this may have been asked b4, but the 5zigen 5zr's are the only rims that i found particularly appealing 4 my car. only thing is, 5zigen only sells an 18x7.5, no 18x8.5. in regards 2 the rear tires, would a 245/35/18 mount on an 18x7.5" rim? i know most everyone else has mounted a 265 or 245 on an 18x8.5" rim, but unfortunately i haven't found wheel that's appealed 2 me with that width. any answers? comments? thanx..

I would recommend at least a 18X8 for the 245/35R18.

if it was a 40 maybe, but that skinny sidewall would make it tough to slap that tire on that wheel.

that's my problem tho! 5zigen manufactures 18x7.5" as the widest available. i understand that a 245/35/18 will fit a 8.0," but it should also fit a 7.5", correct??

The approved rim width for a 215/35-18 is 7.0'' to 8.5''.

The approved rim width for a 245/40-18 is 8.0'' to 9.5''

sdiablo replied on the wrong tire size, and i still haven't gotten a straight answer! i hate 2 bug, but i'd rather not order a wheel/tire combo that will not fit. i kno the RECOMMENDED wheel size for a 245/35/18 is at least an 18x8.0," but all i wanna know is if that 245/35/18 tire will fit an 18x7.5" wheel?

i have a 235/35/18 on a volk racing gt-n 18x7.5, it is fine and looks good. actually was gonna put a 265 on it in the spring.
