Default would a 18x9+63 have the same control arm rubbing

i've heard it both ways, but it seems the general consensus is that the larger wheel won't have the same rubbing issues due to the fact that the barrel of the wheel is further away from the control arm. anyone know first hand?

hmmmm..after doing a search, i see that this problem is for people that are running 17x9 +63 for their fronts..and even then, it's like full lock-in reverse-over a bump-once in a while kind of rub....

so...since those threads were dealing with ce28s and re30s, going to an 18" in either one of those would provide an additional 1/2" of clearance.

I would say no rubbing on the rear. I would doubt anything on the front with the 18".

yea i meant in the front, sorry about that.

yea its a very minor rub on the upper a arm at full lock. i would imagine theres no way the 18's would rub. thanks.
