Default Work Emotion cr kai question

I was looking at getting some Works off a buddy and I was wondering if I could get some input from you all about these.

I have a 2005 Yellow S2000 with stock suspension.

My buddy has Bronze Work Emotion CR Kai's, non staggered 18 x 7.5 with I believe he said 225/40's all the way around, I don't know the offset though I'll ask him tomorrow. 3 rims have minor curb rash but its no biggie there. He's asking 1k for them with tires.

I'm going to try them on tomorrow and I'll try to snap some pics of them too and post them up.

Thanks for the input in advance,
Robbie

Probably not what you want to hear, but I would pass on those. 7.5" rear is a downgrade, if you want non-staggered look for at least a 8.5".

Sorry I forgot to add another question. Would adding 245/40 in the rear help at all or are the 7.5s just not good for the s?

Well offset has nothing to do with the actual width of the rim if you have a 8.5in rim and your gonna put on a 7.5 in IMO that's a down grade I'm gonna the exact same rims on my car very soon but my rears are 17x9
