Default Work Emotion CR in 16" - anybody??

i found these two pix while doing some research on the 16" version of the work emotion cr wheel. does anyone know if the wheels in the pix above are indeed the 16"? if so, are they the 16x7 +42 that work recommends on their site (work-wheels.co.jp)?

i'm looking for a set of 16"s to replace my oem's. i've narrowed them down to these and the sw388's, but i still have yet to see them in person.

does anyone have this setup? if so, could you please share the tire size, wheel size, and offset that youre running?

thanks,
brian

The 42mm offset is a little low even with the 16X7 wheel. You would need to stay very narrow with the tires.

do you think the stock s02's would fit the rear? also, do you think i'd have any problems with the wheels considering that theyre not staggered?

anyone know what size and offset the race cars use? someone said that they run the 7" on the front and a 8" +5x on the rear. can someone please confirm this?

I have 17x7 and 17x8 Work Emotion CRs. I actually wanted the 16 inch and inquired about them through AKH Trading (Work Wheel Distributor in California) and they told me they were not available at the time. I dont know about now. AKH told me the Work wheels were infact 16x7 and 16x8. They didnt know the offsets but if they are +42 and +45 you could still lower your car about an inch and a half and should be fine. I had my SSR Type Cs at a 3 inch drop and they were fine with OEM tires. They were 16x7 +42 front and 16x8 +45 rear. The Spoons on the other hand did rub due to the poor front +35 offset at a 3 inch drop. If you go 1.5 inches you should be fine with the Spoons or Works. I know because I had it set at that height and kept going lower. LOL
Give them a call.
Good luck with your search..

I would say the OE tires should be fine. You may need to run a little more negative camber for the rear.

i will never ever get the sw388's ever again. the front wheels rubbed so bad that the tire got sheared from the fender resulting in a bent fender and a blown front tire.

can anyone get me two 16x8 +45?? i can get the 16x7's easily, but no one, i mean NO ONE carries the 8".
