Default Work Emotion 42+ Offset In Front (47+ in back)

I'm looking into purchasing a set of 17" Work Emotions that are sized below:

17 x 7 + 42 17 x 8 + 47

Tires sizes will be (for the time being) until replaced:

17 x 7 with 215/17/45 Front
17 x 8 with 245/17/40 Rear

I'm on a stock suspension, no drop (yet) and I'm curious if I'll rub at all? Also, if I won't rub, do you think I'll be able to go to 225 in the front at any point?

Also, any idea how heavy the above cast rims weight?

Thanks in advance.

I think it will work. Won't be the best for lowering but it should work fine at stock height. You should have zero rubbing at stock height. Remember the stock rear are "225" on the s2000 but they measure out to be 245. So 215/245 is fine. 225/245 may oversteer a bit.

225's on front will definately rub. I rubbed +50's at stock height during hard cornering.

Thanks you guys. It sounds like 215 will be more than sufficient in the front. Now I'm trying to find out how wide you can take it in the rear (that sounds horrible).

Im running Work Emotion CR Kai 18's 18x7.5 +48 front and 18x8.5 +42 rear. On stock suspension i have no rubbing issues and it gives the car a nice wide stance. Im getting coilovers and a BBk and im going to space the front wheels 5mm to clear the brakes so they will be +43 which it looks like still wont rub. So the offsets you mentioned should be good:

Im running 225/35-ZR18 Front 245/35-ZR18 Rear
