What is the max front tire size I can run on 17x8 +47 with stock fenders, bent lining tabs? I have UK spec alignment and am hoping to fit a 235/40 or 245/40 17.

Thanks

Rolled and puledl front fenders? Or just bent tabs?

With just a bent tab, you are limited to only a 225, of course this depending on your ride height.

The max that can be one on a 8" wheel is a 245. Anything bigger you tire guy will hate you.

Im assuming you have a 9" emotion in the rear with possibly a 255? If so, I'd run a 255/235 combo just to keep it within proper stagger, that is unless you are trying to non stagger a tire set up on staggered wheels

if you have rolled stock fenders you can fit the 235, if your car is lowered you will have issues with just bent tabs

I really don't see any need to go wider than the 225/45R17. A 235/45R17 is going to be taller than stock.
