Will this combo fit with new rubbing? Stock everything.

Both setups should be fender safe fitments. That said, the 17x7 wheel may be better fit with a 215 tire. Nothing necessarily wrong with a 225 on a 7 inch wheel, it'll just be a little bit muffin topped and pinched. If you do go 215 in front you should get a 215/245 stagger. The 17x8+50 and 17x9+60 with 225/255 stagger is the better setup. If you are lowered I would dial in a little extra camber to help with clearance (and performance).

You'll be fine if your suspension is also stock.

If you lower it, be very careful when you ascend/descend driveways. Don't turn your wheels too much when you do so.

17x8+50 is really pushing it

17x7+48 is safer

He wants to mount 225 on either front wheel. The 17x8 +50 with a 225 is more aggressive but it's still 4-5mm more conservative than the non stagger fitment for this wheel so I'd imagine it's still safe. That said OP should be very careful with curbs with either wheel.

225/45-17 on 17x8 +50 & 255/40-17 on 17x9 +60 should be no problem at all.

will fit perfectly!
i have same set up with 1.5" drop the only thing you might need to do is dealing with rear bumper tabs.

He's looking at a different wheel (PF01 vs your RPF1s) and given the offsets it's presumed he doesn't want to modify the fender at all.

I ordered the same exact setup Enkei PF01 setup which I had shopped with my car.

Front: 17X8 ET 50 to fit 225-45-17
Rear: 17x9 ET 60 to fit 245-40-17 or 255-40-17, this is subject to availability in our local market, which is questionable at best.

I was checking he Enkei site prior to posting this email, I was so pi$$ed off to find out that they make the same front wheel with the SS designation, this means that the look of the front wheel would be somewhat similar to the rears, unlike the standard issue PF01 wheel which has no lip at all. I am so mad, nothing I can do about it now, but hope others are able to order the front wheel in SS configuration. I honestly do not understand that if Enkei makes them in this config, why the heck they were not offered as an option by TR?

Cheers.

PS. my car is an AP2, should be similar in terms of fitment.
