Default will this fit?

im in the middle of buying new rims... here is the offset that a&j racing told me to do, or this is what they have for the s2k
- 17x7.5 +43 offset front for Honda S2000, - 17x8 +42 offset rear for Honda S2000

stock is

16x6.5 +55 and 16x7.5 +65

You are better to compare the OEM 17" rims in this case.
front - 17 X 7.5 (~55 offset)
rear - 17 X 8.5 (~65 offset)

Now, looking at the rims from AJ ........................
The fronts are the same as far as diameter and width, so a 43mm offset would stick out further than stock by about 10 mm.
The rears are narrower by 0.5" (12.7mm) and the offset is smaller by about 23mm. Combine these and they will sit about 10mm further from the car than stock.
Therefore, take a look at a car with OEM wheels/tires and imagine that all the tires will stick out about 10mm further or about 0.4". This is also assuming that you go with OEM 17" tire sizing. IMO, not bad.

Let me guess, your getting sa70's?

Wedsport Sa70

However, you should look into getting the advan Rs wheels, they look awesome. And aj has them on special aswell.

I would go with the Advans. I had inquired about them before getting the Volks but seems like a fellow in Seattle bought them and they fit quite nicely. I think there is a pic on the gallery or wheels forum of the Advans.

close greg

but there have been two wheels that i have been in love with for a long time... alot of people have them... but i like them
it was either 17" work emotions in bronze or the sa90's...

i went with the sa90's
just as long as it clears the calipers and fits ok... they should be here on weds....
but i dont know if i will mount anything until spring

You might save a few bucks buying used Volks with tires:
