Will 235/45R17 fit on AP2 V2 wheels?
As the title states. I am looking into buying a set of AP2-V2s and I already have a set of new tires. I was wondering if the 235/45R17 would work for the AP2-V2s REAR wheels. From what I saw is that the recommended size is 245/45R17.

The 235/45/17 is going to be a hair bigger in diameter than a 245/40/17. Not sure how much, but that could have a very slight impact on speedometer I'm guessing? A narrower tire in the rear means the car won't grip the road quite as well, and so the rear won't stay quite as planted as it would with a 245. Might not be too noticeable unless you push the car/tires to the limit, however.

Dang, well I guess I'll have to live with it for the time being. I'm actually using the tires right now and I haven't had an issue. I was wondering more on how they would work with the AP2-v2. Thanks for the info, for sure will keep it mind for the future.

IMO, not a problem at all. The difference in grip on the street between a 245/40 and 235/45 is going to be negligible to nonexistent, and 2% bigger in diameter is not a big deal at all. I'd be more concerned about whether the tire make/model are appropriate for your wants/needs/usage envelope than the oddball size.
