Will 19in wheels fit
I have a 2001 s2000 with RM racing springs. I want to put axis hagens on it but they only come in 19s so I am wooried that they will rub in the front. If anybody has done this or can help me please let me know. I dont want to order wheels that will not work on my car. thanks

The wheels will fit but the problem is the tires. There are no good tires for the car in the 19". We are looking at a 19" wheel currently but the tire is the issue.

Pirelli P7000 comes in 215/35/19s which are really close to the stock 16 inch tires correct? They also make a 235/35/19 that would work perfectly for the rears as well, correct? I believe Toyo and Nitto have appropriate size tires as well, but I'm not 100% sure.
So why are tires an issue for 19 inch rims?

Those sizes are not good for the car. They are 6/10" different front to rear. You would end up with anti lock brakes that do not work correctly and a rake front to rear on the car. It is not something I would recommend.

Yeah, but you also have to think about the width and offsets of the wheels!
You just basically stated if 19"s would fit.
I guess, in short, yes! If you get 19" wheels with the correct width, offset, tire sizes, etc. Also depends how much the RM Racing springs drops your car. Also depends on if you want to modify your fenders too?
I believe Kuni is running 19s lowered with minimal issues. But his offsets are like 19x8 +55 front and 19x8.5 +60 rear or something like that.
Good luck!

socal28 you are correct sir. I am running 225/35/19 in the front and 245/35/19 in the rear. The rear is a little higher than the front, but I checked the speedo with a radar gun and it was dead on.

I'm running the Xenex Muse 19 by 8's with 225/35/19 in the front and 235/35/19 in the rear. The rubber bands are made by Nitto. I believe the offset is 45mm and I haven't heard a single rub out of them.
