If you're going 17x9 all around, just go 245/40 all around. Makes no sense to go lower than that size. You'll look ridiculous with stretched tires unless you want to join the lame hellaflush fade. Proper width for a 9 inch wheel is 255, 245 is fine. If you want a stagger, go 17x8 in front.

Are you running 17x9 all around and what offset? Also what size tire are you running in the rear?

Thanks for the info.

I have 17x9 all around. 225/45 up front and 255/40's in the rear.

I'll see if I have a picture that shows the wheels a little.

Just a fender roll. I was pretty low before and unfortunately pushed the fender lip a little in the front. Still can be rolled back but haven't gotten around to it yet. I have since raised my car up a bunch as it was pretty damn low before.

Thats what I'm running as well. Fits perfectly and drives very well.

And to the guy above that called putting a 225 on a 9 inch wheel hellaflush... its not at all hellaflush.

Perhaps hellaflush was the wrong word. But 225 on a 9 inch wheel will look stretched. If you like the stretched tire look, go for it. I think it looks like you bought the wrong tire size.

Click on the below link to visualize the stretch. You can see the 255s are square with the wheel, the proper size. The 225s are angled in, away from the wheel. Orange outline is the wheel, grey are the tires.

i run 17x9 +45 in the front and 17x9.5 +38 in the rear pretty much minimal camber....all i have is trimmed fenders, and im pretty low
Thanks that's very re assuring. I'll just buy the wheels and then make it fit.

13.6 is a very impressive time for the mods you have, are you using an engine management system?
its decent, i know it has a faster e.t in it....on that pass i had a 2.13 60' ive gotten it down to a 2.05 in other passes but had problems on those passes....the car was untuned at the time...now i am street tuned (for now) on aem ems v2, waiting on my new 3.5" intake and 70mm tb with port matched manifold to get full dyno tune

You did get it right the first time...

I would recommend you just get a 10-15mm spacer with integrated studs to push the rear wheel outward to eliminate the gap. The +60 is perfect up front.

I don't like the idea of running spacers at all, they can be dangerous and they are pretty illegal.
